This year, all submission information must be submitted on-line. The access point to enter information can be found directly above.
Steps for Call for Entries
- Fill out the on-line entry form - including as many entries as you plan to submit.
- As you fill in your entries, you can at anytime export them to an excel file. NOTE: changes to this exported excel document will NOT affect the input fields on the ACE website. The export file is a tool for those members submitting many entries, allowing them to manage entries off-line. Essentially this export function allows you to do spell-check, re-categorize your entries and do whatever internal checks you need to do. Make sure your company name, client name and contributors’ names are spelled correctly – we will be taking names directly from this form to use on the awards and in the show production. From there you will have to go back into the website (the same member will have to sign in again to access your previously input the files) to make any changes.
- As long as you sign in as a member your entries will be saved – so you can exit the system at any time. As long as the same members signs in again – you will have access to any entries previously entered.
- Sorry non-members - you will have to complete your entries all at the same time as your information will not be saved between sessions. Or feel free to join ACE and get all the benefits of membership, including saving on entry fees.
- "Once all your entries have been checked – push the “proceed to summary” tab at the top right. This will take you to the summary of the entries & dollars.
- From there – push “submit & complete payment” tab.
- Once you have filled in your credit card info and payment is confirmed – you will no longer have access to your entries. They will be in the system and unable to be changed.
- You will receive a receipt from the system indicating your entries have been submitted.
- At any time you may go back and look at what has been submitted by pressing the "review completed submission" tab at the top left of the screen.
- It is from this screen that you also print your labels.
- It is EXTREMELY important that you print out labels for each entry & affix it to the back of the entry.
- Then bring your entries to Venture Publishing (10259 – 105 Street) on Friday, January 8th, 2010 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
ON-LINE PAYMENT TROUBLESHOOTING
Our on-line payment system is particularly sensitive. Often for example, by simply putting a comma, instead of a space in the cardholder address, payments will be denied. This is to ensure the highest levels of security for on-line payment. It is advised that you review the address on your statement and enter it exactly as outlined to avoid payment being denied.
Also note – our internet payment system is only capable of processing total payments (including GST) of $6,000. If your entries total more than this – you will need to enter them in 2 batches.
