Each year the Advertising Club of Edmonton provides a deserving Marketing Student at NAIT, Grant MacEwan and The University of Alberta with One Thousand Dollar Scholarships. Criteria for the scholarships varies at each institution. At The University of Alberta and NAIT it is awarded to students with superior academic achievement, while at Grant MacEwan Community College the competition is open to all Advertising or Marketing Students who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in Advertising.

To apply for the Don McIntyre Memorial Scholarship students must submit a resume and essay on career objectives as it relates to the Advertising industry.

 

NAIT

Name: Advertising Club of Edmonton Scholarship
Field of Study: Business Administration – Marketing Program
Conditions: Available to a second year student enrolled in the Marketing program. Awarded on the basis of highest standing in the course of Promotional Management and taking Promotional Planning and Promotional Communications.
Application: Program selects recipient.
Value: $1,000.00

 

GMCC

Name: Don McIntyre Memorial Scholarship
Conditions: Open to all students in programs with advertising or marketing components who demonstrate an interest in pursuing a career in advertising.
Application: Students must submit resume and essay on career objectives as it relates to the advertising industry.
Chosen By: SRC/Selection Committee and representative from the Advertising Club of Edmonton

University of Alberta

Name: Advertising Club of Edmonton Scholarship
Field of Study: Marketing, School of Business
Nominated by the School of Business.
Conditions: To be awarded annually to a student with superior academic
achievement entering into the second, third or fourth year of studies in the
School of Business majoring in Marketing. Recipient will be selected on the
basis of academic standing.
