Description

Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will help to get the word out about the AGA. We are looking for an energetic team player who is detail-oriented and extremely skilled at managing multiple projects and deadlines in a busy environment.



The successful candidate will be an integral part of the Art Gallery of Alberta’s Marketing and Communications team and will be responsible for: the coordination of AGA marketing activities, including assistance with the development and implementation of marketing plans, promotions and visitor research initiatives, as well as the production scheduling and tracking of advertising and promotional materials.



Applicants should have an applicable college diploma or degree in marketing, communications or arts administration as well as 1-2 years experience. The successful candidate will have an interest in the arts, with highly developed organizational skills, and an ability to pay attention to detail.



Proficiency in MS Word and Excel is required. Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign is an asset.



This is a full-time permanent position. A competitive compensation package, including health benefits, is offered.
